Ho boy, look at me. How long has it been now since last time I painted something because I wanted to paint it and not because requested it or even paid me to do it? Must be talking months.

But I'm not gonna crack any jokes about it, because that's what I always do.

At any rate, this is Hiro and Futo. If you've never heard of them before, they're from a pretty fun game called Mini Ninjas. If you've never heard of that either, just download the demo and play it or something. I bought it on Steam some time ago, but barely even touched it up until earlier this month. It's an action-adventure game from 2009 starring a team of six ninjas fighting woodland critters transformed into evil samurai. :eager:

Hehe, thanks! And cool! I never ever meet many people who have played it, either, but I think it's really fun. :meow:

I don't remember o: It's ages since last time I played it sadly D: I don't get much time for playing since I usually use my time for homework or drawing.

Smart move is to study a lot, though, but I barely ever study much from home and I'm still getting through with good results... and several days during the week where I'm out by 12, don't have to show up until after 12 or don't have to show up at all. :meow:

Very wonderful painting! :D

I really adore that soft and shape-y technique you have used.
It makes it all really nice to look at and I get the feeling that I want to touch them for some reason :XD: (ever heard of the sit-test?)

The tiny blue highlights you have going on them looks really awesome and makes the whole setting "become one", if you know what I mean.

I think it's a shame you didn't pay as much attention to the grass though, as it looks a bit flat at the bottom left of the painting. (especially compared to the really nice 3-dimensional feeling of the ninjas)

Maybe you could have added a bit more contrast of the big guy's neck/chin as it does fade together a little bit, but I think you could easily leave it as is, as the whole image is just so soft and comfortable to look at! :D

I hope that this was a bit useful for ya! :D
If you have questions feel free to ask :)

I would have done more with the grass, but it would have taken up too much time to be worth the effort. And it'd shift the focus away from where it should be.
